Gum Tree Lodge, with 200 beds, accommodates thousands of visitors to the Diamond Fields each year. Promoted by De Beers, the City Council and Rotary, we welcome family groups, sporting teams, school children and anyone else looking for first class hostel accommodation at a budget price. The available options vary from dormitories to doubles to en suite to self-catering units from as little as R100 to R250 per person per night. Our extensive grounds are landscaped with a variety of trees, including giant Blue Gums, from which our name is derived. There are braai facilities beside the swimming pool and a visitors lounge and kitchen for self-catering. The adjoining Old Diggers Restaurant offers meals and drinks from early to late.
