Gum Tree Lodge, with 200 beds, accommodates thousands of visitors to the Diamond Fields each year. Promoted by De Beers, the City Council and Rotary, we welcome family groups, sporting teams, school children and anyone else looking for first class accommodation at a budget price. Our extensive grounds are landscaped with a variety of trees, including giant Blue Gums, from which our name is derived.

The buildings occupied by Gum Tree Lodge are themselves part of De Beers history: a convict station, which became their "final recovery" plant!
